Charles Cartright was born on Oct. 24, 1936 in Love County, Oklahoma. He is survived by wife Donna, Daughters Edwina Reed, Karla Cartright, Grandson Leo Martin, Brothers Roy Lee, Roger, Max, Sisters Faye Hayward, Judy Price, 13 nieces, 12 nephews, and lots of grandnieces & nephews. Charles moved from Oklahoma to Ophir in 1942, attending Ophir school & Placer High. He was in the Air Force for 4 years and married Donna in 1959. Charles worked as a logger and loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, digging for old bottles & mining. He loved his family...

He was a great man and will be missed! Services will be held Monday, May 22, 2017 at 11:30 at Chapel of the Hills with burial to follow at Newcastle Cemetery at 1 pm. Pot luck will be held afterward at Charles & Donnas house in Ophir.
